Why is it important to update my details?

It's very important to ensure that your pet's MicroChip contact information is up-to-date because as a 24hr MicroChip reunification service, PETtrac might have to contact you at any time.

The more accurate the information, the faster we can contact you

If your pet was ever found injured and required urgent medical attention, we would need to contact you immediately and without up-to-date and accurate contact details this is not always easy!

How many telephone numbers do you have listed for example? Do you have a mobile telephone number to add? A friend, neighbour or relative perhaps?

Do the following apply to you?

Just ask yourself the following questions, and if necessary, please contact us to update the information:

Have you moved recently?
Have you changed your telephone numbers, in particular mobiles?
Have you recently adopted a pet from a previous owner?
Have you moved to the UK from overseas?
Could you add additional telephone numbers?
Does your pet have any medical conditions we should know about?
