What should I do if my pet goes missing?

Contact PETtrac immediately

If your pet should go missing please contact PETtrac as soon as possible to let us know, so that we can update your pet's record to show they are missing and to also check that your contact details are accurate. It happens more often than you might think that a pet owner updates their contact information only after their pet goes missing.

What else can you do?

Here are some other things you can do if your pet is missing:

Contact your local authority dog warden/animal warden
Contact any local rescue centres
Contact your vet
Ask neighbours to check their sheds and garages
Distribute leaflets and posters in the local area
